The gift of TEA

Selling TEA, was a recent post, in which I revealed that my favorite beverage is hot tea. If one can become addicted to tea-I am! Coincidentally, my initials spell TEA. In that same post, I suggested that TEA could stand for Time, Expertise, and Advice. Now, let’s consider giving the gift of TEA.

We are in the holiday season when people exchange gifts and their thoughts and actions turn to family and friends. There are parties, gift exchanges, shared meals, and shared lives.

You have three gifts that you can give, in your capacity as a financial professional:

• Time
• Expertise
• Advice

Okay, you read about it in my previous post and I won’t repeat the idea here, but think about it this way. It’s the gift-giving holiday time of year. Offer your gifts to family, friends, colleagues, and even strangers. Strangers are merely new friends you are meeting for the first time! People are in a receptive mood at this time of year and your shared gifts will be welcomed . . . if they are offered in the spirit of kindness and joy. The joy comes from knowing that you have the ability and the gifts to help others achieve financial security. Through your kindness and gift of TEA, you can help provide the answer to the question, “Will we be all right?”
