Pyramid logo?

Have you noticed that my company logo is a pyramid?  The following is part of my reasoning for selecting this symbol and how it is related to our business model.

I’ve been fascinated with the pyramids of Egypt for most of my life.  Py-Ra-Mid comes from the Greek and means, Fire In The Middle.  In my case, that fire in the middle is my focused fire of creative energy. The shape has always connected with my mind as it applies to understanding an ideal; from a broad base of knowledge and experience to a pinnacle where everything comes together.

Many people are obsessed with finding out how the ancient Egyptians constructed the pyramids with such precision.  Personally, I believe it started in the mind of one person.  It started with an idea and that idea led to a mental image of such a structure.  Why this happened, I cannot begin to guess, but I am sure that all human creation is the result of an idea and a mental image first.

I agree with the theory that the great pyramid was built from the top down, not literally of course, but at least mentally.  To demonstrate this top-down construction, think what the great pyramid might have looked like if people got together and someone said, “Hey, let’s get a bunch of rocks together, pile them over there and build something really big, shaped like the downward slanting rays of the sun.  How cool is that?”  No, no, no!  It is more likely, someone (maybe Imotep) started with a mental picture of the structure.  He determined how high it could be, how big the base would have to be to support that height, and what angle of slope would create a stable structure.  It was then, and only then, that a plan was devised that would allow the builders to begin construction.  They had a mental image of where they intended the pinnacle to be and they had a method to get there with certainty and precision.

Our lives, businesses, and careers are similar.  Start with an idea of what you are attempting to create.  Then form a clear mental image of what it will look like when completed.  Now, from the idea of the completed image and working backward, (or downward if you will), what has to take place to make it a reality?  If we are focusing on creating and building a successful business, once the idea and image is in place, we start with a rock-solid foundation and work our way upward.  Of course, each of us has an individual approach, a different idea and image.  However, the basic building blocks are the same.  Always construct a solid foundation first, then continue on to the progressive realization of your ultimate goal, the Pinnacle.

So, my consulting business model is built on the concept of the pyramid.  It is the ideal representation of my life and my business.  Take a closer look at that logo.  I offer it to you as the symbol of  your personal ascension to the peak of individual performance. This ascending path is The Pinnacle Path and it represents the entrepreneurial journey to fulfill your true potential.  The base of the pyramid is Point A and the Pinnacle is Point B.

Imagine your own ideal business, create a clear image of it in your mind and then set out on your own Pinnacle Path.  You will be amazed at what you can create!
