On leadership
One of my mantras, which those of you who know me, have heard repeatedly is; “We live in a rapidly changing and increasingly uncertain world, wouldn’t you agree?” In times like these, many of us are looking for leadership. Fear of the future (the unknown) is one of our major fears and the need is for clarity. Leaders can provide clarity about the issues, take a stand, and communicate a clear path into the uncertain future.
Financial professionals are clearly in a leadership role. Their clients want to place their trust in a leader who can advise them and guide them through the maze of financial issues they are facing. In your role as one of these leaders, you create a map that provides clarity for moving forward into the future. Creating this map is essential, while effectively communicating your leadership skills and capability is crucial. In order to do that, you need to create your own map to guide you in your leadership role.
Over the next three weeks, I will be posting my Seven C’s of Self-Leadership. These seven principles and practices are the basis of all entrepreneurial success for financial professionals.
Next week we will look Part One, the first three, C’s. The following week we will explore Part Two, the next three. Two weeks later, we will conclude with the last point of the Seven C’s. Here is the list of the seven points which comprises the Seven C’s of Self-Leadership:

2. Conviction
