It’s always about money!
We live in a rapidly changing and increasingly uncertain world, wouldn’t you agree? During these challenging and turbulent times, many people are worried that their plans, goals, and dreams, may not be realized. For many, the American Dream of financial independence and freedom is at risk and may be lost. Money is the key to this dream, but there is a lot of confusion as to what can be done about it. There are three points of clarity about money:
- Money has one major value; it gives you choices. In our world, not having money means a life of lack and uncertainty, along with fewer options about how we live.
- For many American families, life insurance can mean the difference between financial security and financial disaster. Money makes a difference in the quality of life for most families. If one of the wage earners is taken out of the picture, will the family be able to maintain its sense of security? Their greatest fear is the fear of the unknown future. Loss of family income is the greatest threat to family security and having adequate financial resources is the greatest comfort.
- The core question on everyone’s mind is simple: “Will we be all right?” The key to this question hinges on the availability of money. The answer is to be found in the creation of a solid financial plan for financial independence and through the appropriate use of life insurance. A wise approach is to create a systematic plan to accumulate wealth and then to insure against the possibility of not getting enough time for the plan to work.
Financial planners and insurance professionals are committed and dedicated to helping their clients attain financial security and independence. Providing solutions that help answer the core question, #3 above, is the sole basis of the financial services professionals’ relationship with their clients. These professionals help assure their clients that they will indeed “be all right.”
Financial services professionals are uniquely positioned and capable of helping their clients with financial planning and money issues, however, they often can’t seem to meet with enough qualified prospective new clients. Ironically, they operate in a career field with unlimited income potential but many experience limited income and few ever fulfill their potential. Ineffective marketing is the most common cause for this limitation and failure to attract enough new clients.
What about you? Is your version of the American Dream becoming a reality or is your current reality limited? Are you reaching your potential? Are your marketing activities producing the results you need to advance you to the next level of success? To advance and expand your business, you must become more effective in your marketing activities. You may be very successful in your sales ability and have the finest products available, but if you don’t have enough qualified prospects, you will never have the opportunity to close sales. Client acquisition is dependent upon having a steady stream of qualified prospects and that is the result of consistent and effective marketing. Your desire to increase your results and attain your full potential starts with assessing your current reality, Point A. Then determine where you could be or where you want to be which is Point B. The difference between those two points is your potential. You my friend, you need a plan! (to borrow from Dennis Hopper)
