Discontent

Have you ever wonder where internal motivation comes from?  Research tells us that all human achievement springs from Constructive Discontent. This state of mind is responsible for our continuing upward spiral of achievement.

Discontent is a source of inner motivation: the inner urge to make a positive change.  The intensity of inner motivation is directly related to the amount of discontent with the current situation.

So, we get going when we experience a sense of dissatisfaction with the status quo.  Watch for these feelings and be aware of the opportunity they represent to harness that inner motivation to achieve your goals.  The inner motivation provides the “push-of-needs” to overcome inertia.  The “pull-of-wants” delivers the momentum needed for sustained success.  Understanding this is a powerful force for good!
