That’s a wrap!

As this year comes to a close, most of us are thinking about how we will operate in the next year. This week, spend some time each day thinking about your area of expertise and your strengths. Have your pen and pad of paper ready to jot down these very important thoughts. Endeavor to become very clear about what you have to offer and with whom you intend to make a difference. Create, or refine, your client profile and commit to working only with prospective new clients who meet the criteria of that profile.

I have found that early morning planning time produces the best thinking, clearer ideas and understanding. I recommend that you explore “the time” to see when your thinking is more clear or best. The important thing is to engage in this exercise progressively, each day this week, for an hour, or so. Look for what you can do, what you do best, and focus all of your attention on doing only those things. Remember, it’s not enough to know what to do; you must do what you know. Do not make any resolutions related to fixing weaknesses, faults, or deficiencies. They will fade into the background if you concentrate on your strengths. In other words, dwell on the positive, not the negative!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We wish you health, happiness, and prosperity.
